Pregnancy is such a special time. Given that I have never been pregnant, I have always had a romantic notion around it; despite what I hear about morning sickness, swelling, and tiredness, etc..  I am looking forward to experiencing it, SOMEDAY!

A good friend of mine, Avery, and his wife, Yvonne, were expecting their first child. I’ve known Avery for about 15 years, and he is a model husband. Avery absolutely adores Yvonne, and you can see it from just about everything he does. It was an honour to do this photo session for them.

Their little one, Evangeline (Evie) was born just before New Years. Congratulations.

Photographer’s note: when you have an uneven backdrop (in this case – a wrinkly bed sheet), sometime adding texture to the image helps take away the unwanted distractions.
